Scotty MacLean
Scotty MacLean was born in Cleburne, Texas on May 21, 1967. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1989 with a degree in political science. Scotty attended law school at Texas Tech University and received his Juris Doctorate in 1993. He was admitted to the Texas Bar in November of 1993.
After a brief clerkship with the Tarrant District Attorneys Office, Scotty accepted a position with the firm as an associate. He is now a partner, specializing in civil litigation with an emphasis in personal injury and business disputes.
Scotty is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Tarrant County Bar Association, Texas Trial Lawyers Association (Director), American Association for Justice, Tarrant County Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Bar Association. He also serves on the District 7 Grievance Committee.
Scotty is admitted to practice in all Texas State Courts and is also admitted to practice in Federal Courts for the Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas, the Eastern District of Michigan and the Southern District of New York.
Recent, Fort Worth, Texas Magazine named Scotty an "Outstanding Attorney". In 2004, Texas Monthly Magazine identified him as a "Rising Star", an honor bestowed on the top 2.5 percent of Texas attorneys under the age of 40.
He is "AV" rated by Martindale-Hubbell, signifying that other attorneys rank Scotty MacLean at the highest level of professional excellence.
Scotty is married with two children.
