Rickey Brantley


Rickey Joe Brantley was born April 1, 1958 in Clarksville, Texas. He married Ellen McGinnis on May 28, 1983. Rickey and Ellen have four children: Halley, Benjamin, Hannah and Margaret (Meg).

Rickey graduated from Clarksville High School in 1976, then attended Texas A & M, Baylor University and Texas Eastern University. He graduated from 
Baylor Law School in May,  1982. During his time in law school, Rickey was Senior Class President, Vice-President, Student Bar Association, a member of the Order of Barristers, the President of the Moot Court Society and a member of the Mock Trial Team. He was awarded the Claude B. Williams Advocacy Award, the Strasburger & Price Advocacy Award, and the Baylor Outstanding Advocate Award.

Rickey has been Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law and Civil Trial Law since 1988 by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is a member of the
American Board of Trial Advocates, the College of the State Bar, the State Bar of Texas, and he also is licensed in Colorado. In 1992, the Fort Worth and Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association recognized him as the Outstanding Young Lawyer of Texas.

Rickey is "AV" rated by Martindale-Hubbell, signifying that other attorneys rank Rickey Brantley at the highest level of professional excellence.

Jury verdict settled before Judgment was entered, providing the child with medical treatment for the rest of child's life.)
