Michael Henry
Michael J. Henry was born in Sherman, Texas in 1955. He was raised in Gainesville, Texas and was a Cum Laude graduate of North Texas State University. Mike attended Texas Tech University School of Law, where he was President of the Student Bar Association, Outstanding Student of 1981 and a member of the Board of Barristers.
Mike has been actively practicing law in Ft. Worth since he was licensed in 1981. He is a former Director of the Texas Young Lawyers and the Director of the Tarrant County Bar Association, and the Tarrant County Trial Lawyers. He also is a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice, American Bar Association, and the American Board of Trial Advocates (President 2006, National Board Member 2007).
Mike has been Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1988, and in Civil Trial since 1990. He is admitted to practice in Federal Court in the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas, the Eastern District of Michigan, the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
Mike has been actively involved in youth athletics in Tarrant County for the last 20 years. Marcy, his wife of 25 years, is a native of Graham, Texas. His two sons, Rob and Jay, attend Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.
